About a dozen people got some unintended face time with the stars of "Modern Family" — they were all stuck in an elevator for about an hour. The Kansas City Star reports Julie Bowen, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Eric Stonestreet were about to make an appearance for a charity fundraiser. The three actors and about a dozen others were trapped in an elevator at the Sheraton Kansas City Hotel. The fire department freed them after an hour. The actors gave a shout-out to the fire department when they finally hit the stage an hour after they were supposed to appear.
