If I had been in charge of this year's Grammy Awards show and given the power to put together any collection of artists I wanted to sing one of my all time favorite songs, here's what I would have done. I would have gotten Elton John, Mumford & Sons, Mavis Staples, Zac Brown and Alabama Shakes singer Brittany Howard to perform "The Weight" as a tribute to the late Levon Helm. Fortunately, that is exactly what T Bone Burnett did, and he also played guitar on stage for the segment. Of course, Levon died last year at age 71 after battling cancer.
