NBCNewYork.com tells of two New Jersey State Police officers, Sgt. 1st Class Nassir Nassry, a 25-year-veteran, and trooper Joseph Ventrella, 28, who were both suspended in April 2012, after escorting a parade of Lamborghinis, Porsches and other expensive, exotic cars, along Garden State Parkway at speeds believed in excess of 100 mph including one driven by former New York Giants star Brandon Jacobs.
Still under investigation, if the Attorney General's office decides
to file charges, Sgt. Nassir, who otherwise has a spotless record, and has filed for retirement, could be fined and lose his pension.
Doh!
