Brad Paisley worked a marriage proposal into his act in Las Vegas Saturday, helping a fellow West Virginian pop the question during the show.

Paisley, a Wheeling native, performed a concert at the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino before an audience that included Jason Davis and Vanessa Pritt of Teays Valley, West Virginia. With plenty of pre-arrangement and seats near the stage, Davis held up a sign reading, “I’m the guy from West Virginia that’s going to propose,” after Paisley sang his signature song “She’s Everything.”

Paisley then handed Davis the microphone, saying, “Do it, brother,” and Davis did, asking Pritt to marry him. She said yes. “I’ve never seen so many women crying,” Davis said. “The only reason Paisley considered it was because we’re fellow West Virginians.” After the proposal, Paisley joked from the stage, “Congratulations to you, sir, and my condolences to you, ma’am.”

Looks like taylor Swift is Out Of ‘Les Miserables’ the movie musical set for a Holiday 2012 release... She won’t be playing Eponine as planned in the upcoming movie musical “Les Miserables,” EW.com says.

Although Swift had been in talks for the part, Samantha Barks, a contender on the British singing completion series “I’d Do Anything,” has instead been cast as Eponine. Barks played the role of Eponine in the West End production of “Les Miserables” from 2010 to 2011.

McGraw’s longtime producer, Byron Gallimore spoke recently to Associated Press entertainment writer Chris Talbott about the new release, noting:  “We’re certainly happy with it and feel like it’s one of our best. We’ve got a great batch of songs on here, and I’m just excited that it’s getting out there…I feel very strongly about this record.”
 
With a remarkable dynasty of 32 #1 singles and 44 million units of music sold, Emotional Traffic launches 2012 as a good year for McGraw’s legions of fans.

Tough time for  Miranda Lambert has canceled a concert in Florida on Friday so she can attend the funeral of a close friend.

The "House That Built Me" star was left distraught last week following the death of her childhood pal Mark Adams, who died when a car struck him as he was helping a stranded driver by the side of the road.

Lambert, who also lost her father-in-law earlier this month, expressed her sadness over his death on Twitter.
